Agile Coach required for our Glasgow based Central Government client on a 6 month initial contract + extensions.
You will be leading the Agile development of a project, defining and maintaining the working practices for the team in line with an established methodology. You will proactively identify and work to remove impediment. You will also be coaching team members in Agile best practice, whilst working with Product Owners to agree Sprint Plans, tracking velocity and managing risk accordingly. You will work with Test Managers to establish best practices in testing and ensure Testing and Quality maintain a central focus, and producing progress reports and metrics as required.
The ideal candidate will have strong Agile development approaches and methodologies experience, with understanding on the processes and challenges of accurate estimation from all team members. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills: both to technical and non-technical audiences. You will also have experience of giving guidance to less experience co-workers, including potential trainees. Experience of Government/ Public Sector is also preferred however not essential.
